Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability of clean baking pans and utensils by washing dishes, pans, pots and trays

  • Prepare baking areas and kitchen by cleaning and restocking supplies and bake stations

  • Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as ovens, mixers, food processors, tray racks etc.

  • Assist with unloading and distributing deliveries

  • Sweep and mop floors as needed, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled

  • Dispose of garbage and recycling rinsing bins between uses

  • Complete all daily checklists and procedures provided by Kitchen Manager

  • General bakery support

  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year dishwashing or cleaning experience with a general understanding of food service fundamentals and environments (an asset)

  • Strong organization and communication skills

  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50lbs

  • Willingness to comply with company procedures and policies

  • Perform duties with food safety and sanitization procedures

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada

  • Must speak English

Availability: Tuesday - Friday 11am - 5pm and open availability for all major holidays
24-35 hrs per week (some exceptions may apply)
